Living History - Reenacting a Montana Circuit

The people living in these communities are truly wonderful folks.  In preparation for this portion of the circuit,

there was a lot of time spent praying for everyone living in all of the ten communities along the entire route of this planned circuit

reenactment.  For the first phase in November '25 (Pictured Below), we just travelled through six of the communities,

holding Old-Time Church Services in Sand Coulee and Stockett.  It was truly a special time!!

But we are focused on making the journey through the entire Historic Circuit Route sometime during this coming year.

O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.  Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my

thought afar off.  Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.  For their is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it all together.  Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it.    - Psalm 139:1-5

The purpose of these Living History Circuit Reenactments is to encourage the people living in these communities, and the

churches that are in each of these small towns now.  There are wonderful stories that were noted by the Circuit Riders and Local Pastors that served these places back when the foundations of these communities were first being established.  Often these stories have been forgotten.  But knowing how God was at work in a communities past, can bring renewed vision for the future.

The early Circuit Riders travelled at about 3 miles per hour, and in all kinds of weather.  By bringing history to life, and using the

same means that were true to the period then, the stories are not only told, but illustrated!
